Samuel Vizcarrondo
My name is Samuel Vizcarrondo Febres. I was born on October 11, 1957, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, located on the San José Lagoon. I was the fourth son among six brothers and three beautiful sisters. Rufino Vizcarrondo Pizarro was my father. My beloved mother was Ramona Febres Rivera. Later, we moved to the public housing complex in Sabana Abajo, Carolina, and in 1975, I started high school. Then I met my current wife, Ruth Nereida Estrada. While I was in high school, my beloved daughter, Ruth Mary, was born in 1979.
Some time passed, and I left Puerto Rico in 1980 to serve in the United States Army. My son, Samuel Abraham, was born in 1982, and Carlos David, the youngest, was born the following year. Then God used my wife to save me. It was she who urged me to visit a church in Lakewood, Washington, and in the spring of 1987, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord. He saved me. He changed my life. I am saved by His grace. God has richly blessed me spiritually and in this life. He says in His Word that “we shall not want,” and so it has been.
In 1992, the Lord brought us to Killeen, Texas, and we began attending church, where we persevered by God’s grace for 18 years. God has given us two grandsons, Isaiah Nathaniel and Danehl, and two granddaughters, Tatiana Marie and Nya Lee. When my mother passed away, God comforted and strengthened me because He cares for His children, loves us, and wants what is best for us. After I retired from the military, I worked as a vendor stocker at the military grocery store for eight years. Then I served as a bus driver for the Killeen, Texas, school district for eight years.

Currently, I dedicate myself to being a Bible mentor and teaching the Bible on the program “Prophecies Explained” on Radio Amor FM in collaboration with Jaqueline Tineo.
